Gateway MX6440
My main system is my Gateway MX6440 laptop (AMD Turion64/1GBRAM) which is running Xubuntu for better speed and performance. WiFi works but sometimes I have to re-set the network config and reboot.
HP Pavilion a510n
My server is an AMD 3000+ (2.1 Ghz) w/ 1 GB RAM and a 256MB Nvida 9600 Vid Card
It was running Kanotix 2005 but now I’s running Xubuntu w/ xampp and serves as a Web Server and File Server for my 70+ Gigs of music.
Custom Rig
My custom rig was a dead eEachine but now it’s a BioStar w/ AMD 2800+ w/1GB Ram which is running Kanotix 2005.
HP Pavilion a510n No. 2
This is my wife’s computer which is also AMD 3000+ (2.1 Ghz) w/ 512 RAM but it’s running Windows XP Pro. Someday I will get her on a Linux box but she’s reached the point where she can do most everything on her own.
